Dorking's position in the south east of England could not be more accessible. At the junction of the A24 and A25 trunk roads, the town benefits from the M25 London orbital motorway just 15 minutes away. Gatwick international airport is just 30 minutes away and Heathrow international airport around an hour away.

The town boasts three railway stations, the main Dorking station accessing both London Victoria and London Waterloo mainline stations and, in the opposite direction to Horsham and the south coast. Dorking Deepdene and Dorking West stations accessing the east-west line linking Gatwick airport and Reading mainline station via Guildford. The Eurostar terminal at Ashford is easily accessed via the M25 and M20.
